Then there is a $100 mail in rebate which brings the cost down to $1150. Then they throw in a free mount and a free second bulb worth $350. If you factor in the cost of the bulb and the mount, you end up paying $750 for the projector. Why get this over the DLP alternatives? Large 2x zoom, lens shift, and no rainbows for people who see them. Review.

Sharp DT-510 Projector $1000 at Costco.com

Another Darkchip3 720p Projector drops to $1000. For $1000 only the Infocus 7210 gives you as much bang for the buck. The sharp also is not as loud as the 7210, has a shorter throw and has cheaper bulbs.
